Poop!

So we are in Hatteras with the Llewellyn crew this week and the first 4 days of vacation have revolved around Tommi pooping! haha

So as I posted before she had a huge blow out on Thursday. So then she didn't poop on Friday I figured she had cleared herself out so I didn't' worry. Plus we were traveling so she was a little thrown off.

Then we came down to Hatteras on Saturday and again no poop. So I was a super surprised. It was the center of the conversations b/c we all didn't want her to blow out on us...and she was starting to act fussy about it. Like her belly was uncomfortable...she was up every hour on Saturday night which is not normal at all for her!! So then came Sunday...we all figured it would be terrible...but still no poop!

I said if she didn't poop today/Monday I would call the pediatrician b/c well I was worried she was eating like a champ and still no poo...only so much can go in before it comes out.

So this afternoon I was holding her and she was gassing as normal and fussing seeming like her belly was hurting...and I looked in her diaper as I have been for the past few days and I saw a splash of poop, I got excited and took her down to change her hoping she would just let loose soon.

As soon as I got that diaper off (well just laying under her)...it started! She just started going and going. She was SOOOOO happy!!! She pooped enough to fill at least 2 diapers full! I was glad she didn't do all that while her diaper was on b/c it would have come out the sides and gone everywhere. But it just went on the diaper b/c I was holding her legs.

So I was SO relieved today. I seriously felt like a huge weight was taken off my shoulders and was so thankful my prayers were answered!

Oh the joys of being a mom and the things we get excited about!!! But everyone including Luke's friends were excited to hear she had pooped...so it was pretty funny!

Oh wow...

So Tommi has at 3 baths this week so far due to blow outs! First off...I HATE all diapers except Pampers! They do not hold my child's poop in. She is just discovering how to push her a little more solid poop out so she holds it all day and blows out.

Today was the worst so far...
She was sitting in her swing and was a little fussy I figured due to being tired. So I went over and moved her silky so I could find her passy and it had poop on it so I picked her up and there was a puddle of poo in her swing. Extreme stress hit me...I wrapped her up in a blanket got the cushion out of the swing so I could wash it and then went in to change her diaper and found there was more in the swing than in her diaper (stupid huggies)! So I cleaned her a little then figured it would be easier to give her a mini bath in the sink. (BTW when I went in to change her she had stuck her hand on her side and got poop on it then stuck her hand in her mouth...ewww!!!)

So after cleaning her up panic hit again as I rounded up all the poop covered stuff and threw it quickly into the washer!

All I can say is wow...that was an intense situation and I CAN wait to ever start solids b/c I hear the blow outs get worse!

So a burp cloth, my t-shirt, the straps on the swing and the swing cushion are a little stained but we did make it out alive! haha

Baby blues...

well they are not baby blue...but they are the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen...I'm a little bias! haha

2 months!

How can my babygirl be 2 months old?!?!? Time flies when you are having fun.

At Tommi's 2 month appt she was 10lbs 15ozs (50%) and 23 and 3/4inches long (above 90%). We are gonna have a tall daughter...yippy! The dr was very impressed how healthy she is! I'm VERY proud! She developmentally is about the level of a 3 month old. So that makes me happy too!

She is becoming SO alert, smiling and "talking". She really loves her mommy! I walk into a room or anywhere around her, the attention locks on me! I get the most smiles too!

I LOVE life as a mom! I knew I would love it but had no idea how much....my heart over flows with love for her!

Here is my beauty...

Check out those long legs!

3 amazing years!

So this is one that is not all about Tommi Jo, but it is where it all started...

Today TJ and I have been married for 3 years...I still can't believe I'm old enough to be married and have a baby. I feel like it was just yesterday I was having IM conversations with my mom telling her about this amazing boy I had met. And only 14 months later I was living out my fairy tale...

Our wedding was the most amazing day...it had rained 4 inches the day before but by the grace of God June 15, 2006 was the most beautiful day ever! I could not have asked for more perfect weather.

A moment I will treasure forever...

I couldn't be happier...

I love this picture!

So happy to finally be married!

Dreaming of our future together!

I wouldn't have done it any different! June 15, 2006 will always be one of the best days of my life!

I love this!

So having a newborn is fun b/c they are so little and just such little miracles...but having a (almost) 2 month old is even better!

Tommi is now smiling and interacting SO much! She will try and talk to us and has discovered she has other ways to communicate other than crying! I seriously LOVE when she just stares at me and you can see the love in her eyes! I'm just over the moon with love and it only grows by the day!!!

Plus she is now sleeping SO much better and is a little more predictable with eating and napping during the day!

So here are some of her finest moments in the past week...

All dressed for our first (nice) family photo

Thankful..

I have discovered a great way to get through hard times is to thank the Lord for my healthy babygirl.

When she screams...I thank him for healthy lungs.
When she poops...I thank him for a healthy digestive system.
When I feel like all I do is feed her...I thank him for being able to breastfeed.
When I have to get up at 3am...I thank him for having a baby to wake me up.

It is amazing how much you can find to be thankful. Though I am thankful for her...I think, what did I do to deserve to have such a perfect and healthy baby?

God is SOOO good!

Spitter...

I have what the dr calls a "spitter". Tommi spits up after every feeding and spits up alot! She gets enough food b/c she has enough dirty diapers. I have to change her clothes at least 3 times a day...she does wear a bib but her clothes still find a way of getting wet.

I am just totally not liking this! It is really hard for me b/c she soaks her clothes, burp clothes, and whatever she is sitting in (usually her swing).

I have tried all the tricks to slow it down but it has not worked!

Just had to vent so I did it on here!

New cousin...

Tommi was only the baby in the Frazier family (extended) for a little over a month. On May 30, 2009 her 2nd cousin Titus Altair Spencer was born to TJ's cousin Matthew and his wife Cassie!

He was 6lbs 11ozes so he was a little guy. Tommi has yet to meet him b/c we were not comfortable taking her to the hospital, but they will meet this weekend at church! I'm sooo excited! She seems to be excited to show him the world...b/c she is so experienced now! haha

My sweetie

Take #2 at posting pictures of my sweet girl...
